The outer diameter is about 29,7 mm inner was about 28,4mm I think....

you must shape out the case with a lathe to right dimension to fit a better glass, then the thickness of the rehaut is visible like gen...

I don't know the dimensions of the Gen SD Glass..

If anybody knows jump in.....

But I think it can be done ;)

good to know...

so now, the only piece of the puzzle is figuring out the diameter of the gen crystal...

AND, if it is larger than 28.4mm then i need to find someone to lathe out the case!

thanks for your help Tribal!

Tribal and PP, and anyone else who cares:

I have a genuine crystal for a modern Sea Dweller. Here are the pictures for you to compare. Sorry for the lousy photos - but I don't have the best setup.

So now you know what I know. Yes - what you see on the side of the genuine crystal is right. There is a strange notch in the crystal (from the side on the bottom side. You can sort of see that in the third picture. Not sure if this will help with the rehaut look.

Also - the best ruler I have is shown. Not sure if this helps much - but the size does seem to be in the ball park.

Hope that this helps. I am gathering up all my SD mods for a visit to the Zigmaster. Would love any input.
