the_man
I've been looking for a pam 165 or 91 rep, but I have to say all the reps look nothing like the genuine. The lack of contrast in the band is consistent in all of them. Is it possible to give SS a darker, more brushed appereance, something closer to titanium? Maybe using some type of chemical, compound or even sand paper? Gennie: Reps: all the reps have the same band as a typical ss pam. Doesnt look anything like ti. Bignasty
Hey man, easy fix Buy a rep with a real Ti case and also a real Ti/SS band! I've got a beautiful PAM 192 that has real Ti case and also has a Ti/SS band. There is a member selling the Ti/SS bands here now. I got one from him for my 192 and it is perfect! Also check with your dealer, many of them can have a custom built model made for you! I mean case from this model, dial from that model, crown guard from this model, band from this model and so forth! Good hunting! Jon
swdivad
Just to let you know, the contrast between the Ti and SS is not as pronounced as in the photo. I have the gen PAM 091 and the Ti is MUCH lighter than that! The only natural metal I have seen in a Panerai is the Tantalium, which is quite dark.
