Pam 199 - Regatta

Guys ,

What do you think about the PAM 199 that some dealers already carry (EG: KING and Watchhonpo).

Any comments ??

Also a question: Is the the bezel of the gen Shined or brushed ??? (the reps seems to be brushed).

Here is a pic of a gen (scroll down , second watch) .... looks bezel is shined but can really tell.

I like it, but can't get over the poor date magnification problem. This may only hold for the one I had, but it was very difficult to read the date.

Apparently, the date mag is an issue on all the submersibles. I've got two and both date mags suck although the regatta is the better of the two of them.

AMKOOO, you'll enjoy it. I like it better than the Artkos. The hands are more readable in bad lighting as well.

I think it looks great mate. Im not a huge fan of the submersibles but this is nice i have to admit!

It's hard to tell if there is a difference. The Date mag looks better in his pictures, but not sure. Couldn't see any other differences. Can't tell what movement it has. I do know that in other watches a swiss movement enables a better date mag, why? I don't quite understand

The date mag issue will be difficult to tell with pictures. I remember two of my subs, if they were in direct sunlight, it actually looked acceptable. So, if may be one of those things you need to have in hand to detect.

It could be my wishful thinking but the crown looks better in the Watchhonpo pics. Date mag looks poor, and the perennial problem of the not bold enough date font is there too. Such a shame they don't print a decent datewheel!
