Tribal
Hello again, here is a small update of my 1680.... The luminos dots arrived today... That was the last thing to do on my 1680. For your remember... All the mods... Drilled out Lugholes to fit gen sprinbars Gen Oysterbracelet Gen Tube and crown Gen Tropic 127 and luminos Dot installed... and thats the result... Ok, i think this one needs no more work. Anybody want to buy it? Just kidding RG Tribal Edited June 9, 2006 by Tribal

Tribal
Looking good, Tribal! Thanks Ubi,my friend.... By the way what kind of A.Schild movement do you take for your 1680 that fit a gen Datewheel? RG Tribal
Guest avitt
Very nice. I'm curious about how you mounted the luminous dot. The hole in the vintage bezel inserts is smaller than the modern versions. What kind of insert are you using? Thanks.
ubiquitous
I'll have to take a look... I know a 190x will work. I also believe an 18xx will work as well. I just sold one of my movements and one of my datewheels, so I am down to one now...

My guess, based on the appearance of the insert's font, surface finish, and color is that he is using the original MBW insert with the luminous dot replaced.
