The balance of the watch is very delicate. In the most serious cases the continuous and repeated vibrations can cause the spillage of it from axle. I'm sure the interior mechanisms are off axle and we don't know how to fix it. I told her not to tap hard on it as it could get worse, but, it just will not run at all. It's under a year old.
