Victoria
I have posted on (some of) these individually, but this is a fantastic round-up thread, jot9011! Let me try: A- Pulsar with F- Jerry Ford B- Omega with H- Jack Kennedy C- Timex Ironman with K- Bill Clinton D- Universal Tri-Compax with D- Harry S. Truman E- Hamilton Sub (?) with A- Ike Eisenhower (II) F- Vulcain Cricket with B- Tony Blair G- Omega Connie with C- Mikhail Gorbachev H- Rolex Presidential with I- Dwight D. Eisenhower I- Timex Indiglo with E- George W. Bush 43 J- Vacheron Constantin Tourby with G- Silvio Berlusconi K- Patek Philippe with J- Vladimir Putin Corrected below: E- Toy Watch with B- Tony Blair F- Vulcain Cricket with A- Franklin Delano Roosevelt Guesses: - Dwight Eisenhower was known to wear a solid gold Presidential (he was the first, I believe), as was LBJ. No clue about that diver watch, so that's a guess. - Harry Truman wore a simple 'grandpa' face Hamilton, so that's a guess - Tony Blair is infamous for wearing a $30 Swatch, but he has been photographed wearing a Pepsi GMT (I posted a photo once) Trivia: - Bill Clinton is a watch queen, of course. In 1992, he had a humble Timex, but he's now a Panerista, he's into Kobolds, Ulysse Nardin, Blancpain, Roger Dubuis, etc. - GHW Bush 41 wore Panerais before Clinton, but was a lifelong Patek man. Interestingly, for a man who loves watches, he wasn't featured here. stevie7s
Obviously you are talking about, a time period of, when Clinton was in office, correct? As I do not see any AP or Panerai up there and we all know that those are his timepieces of choice now. Other than that...good game. I wish I had the patience to participate in it. It's not that its laborious, I just would not be able to sleep at night if I got one wrong.
