casanile Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Hi folks, I really love this watch I can't find it, do you have any source? Thanks...
natron Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 This is where I first saw it. I know this is the gen, and I like it. hxxp://www.bernardwatch.com/pop/IWC317.html Natron
yellomen Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Me liky too But unfortuantely there's no decent rep. Maybe there are cheap reps available but i wouldn't know that... just know that there's no really good repped version and there's no plan for it either

Watchmeister Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 With the Cousteau at 44mm, Slevin at 42mm and various 3717 versions at 42mm done as well as a bunch of 40mm's I would not hold my breath for a good version.

Yeah you're right... But I can't buy the Slevin my bro just did, and the cousteau is too flashy for me. Maybe the GST... Anyway, I've just began my search, who knows...
eunomians Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Would be nice if they did make this though. I'd buy one.
chrgod Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Yep... The non-chrono Aquatimer is the one I am waiting for.... But at the moment the rep makers for some reason seem to concentrate only on chronographs... Silix, among others has a cheap version of this one though.
k2222 Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 yep i'm waiting for that non chrono version too
Guest asad Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 It's OK, Though personally, I like the older Aquatimer better. and they have already replicated it; quite perfectly.
yellomen Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 yep i'm waiting for that non chrono version tooMe too... i already have a genuine dial waiting to be transplanted
casanile Posted January 29, 2008 Author Report Posted January 29, 2008 I've just found one on DHGATE, it's a power seller. I'm asking him a few questions, who knows...
Guest avitt Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 I've just found one on DHGATE, it's a power seller. I'm asking him a few questions, who knows... ...Be careful! That exact same picture (with the finger) has been used by multiple sellers on various sites (ioffer, CQout, etc) for several months. It's a picture of the genuine watch. I am sure that when a high quality replica does become available, we will learn it here first.
yellomen Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 The watch in this picture appears genuine...
casanile Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 Thanks, You are both right Gentlemen. Be sure that I'll not pull the trigger on it before I get several answers, pics and sure facts. Last time I did that, it was for a black Omega SMP on ioffer which everyone was sure that the model didn't exist anymore. It worked, It's was indeed a super rep. I like to bet but with limited risks and I must admit that this time I'm less confident....
