BobM
I have rolex wrenches. Can successfully unscrew the back ... but then the back stops unscrewing and acts as if it has come up on a stop. I thought maybe it screws out to a stop and then pries out from there. Tried that - gently - but that doesn't seem to do anything useful. Is there some trick? What might I be doing wrong? Thanks.
RWG Technical
Normal on many models... if it's loose and you can get your finger nails under the edge, try gentling lifting it up, and turning it with your finger nails, sometimes this works... BobM
The Zigmeister... Rob, You, sir, are a gem! There are many, many reasons for anyone interested in replica watches to be a supporting memebr of this forum, but you - by yourself - are worth the price of admission. That simple procedure worked perfectly ... and was required and effective for the screw back to both come off and and go back on. I sincerely thank you. offshore
Ahhh Ziggy, You often say there are no tricks in watchmaking! However your tips (for want of a better word) are the icing on the cake for all us wannabee repairers. Thanks again mate. Offshore
bruce79
Nice one Rob. I was having similar problems with one of my casebacks last week. At the point of frustration, I just tried to pry it off with a screwdriver and heard that magical click and it came loose and fully unscrewed. Casebacks can be tricky.
