I am thinking of buying this from Andrew OMG0050A - Omega Planet Ocean 42mm (2006) Black - Leather Band

I am not familiar with Omega's so am hoping I can get some of the board memberss opinion on this. I am going for the 42mm because of a smaller wrist and the leather band looks pretty nice. Price is not bad either.

Any comments / suggestions ?

Go for it.. but if you don't think the 45mm version is too big, i would prefer that one over the 42mm.

You've got the right dealer. Between Andrew and Angus at Puretime, you got the two most upstanding dealers around.

I happen to think the 45mm UPO is the better watch. In any case, you won't be disappointed. I haven't bought a duff watch from Andrew yet.

I bought the 42mm PO first and then I got a 45mm because of all the "hype" on RWG (and others). It really depends on whether or not you like BIG watches ! I like them both and I think I actually prefer the 42mm as it's not so bulky to wear.
