The only place you can usually buy them is in run down old shoe menders and key cutters. But are their any dealers who do nice rolled gold al-a-carte ones wider heavier with some decoration on them. I think these old straps should make a comeback. but really good quality versions. the ones you buy hanging on a strip of card always look tatty and plain.
