jsmith11
Ok I ordered 2 deployment buckles from BOB, one black one brown. The quality is awesome!! I love thme but have a question... Where the strap meets the watch and the pin holds it in place, there seems to be a space on each side, like it doesnt fit tight to the watch. It is minor but I think I ordered the wrong size strap? Anyone know what I am talking about? Here is a pic to help show it. Any help would be greatly appreciated
takashi
You have ordered a wrong strap size. Lug size of your strap is short of 1 or 2 mm.

takashi
It's a Navi world... Probably has a larger lug size. 24 maybe? I don't have this watch so I can't confirm. But you are right. Normal Navitimer has 22mm lug size. Edited January 20, 2008 by takashi
jsmith11
I figured I had done that. Damn it! 22/20 is the size I need now. Guess I will live with it like this for this batch of straps.
mikellem
I would recommend selling them and ordering the correct size... 22 mm... You currently are short 2mm and in my opinion its too much.. -MM

Will I need a new deployment buckle and just sell the straps or sell the deployment as well??
piratedzeus
It is also too much in other terms. The pin now is under heavy force. No pressure is given by the sterap to the lugs, only to the pin. The pin will break soon.

hiker01
Just sell the straps! It depends on the size that the deployant will take.....are they 20mm or 18mm DP buckle? BTW: If you have not worn any of these, MAC at BOB straps might take it back for an exchange! He did it for me b4! Good luck!

J, just tell Waccex of your problems. I think they will solve it -- really.
frankpower88
i am 100% sure the navitimer world needs a 24mm straps. the normal navitimer uses 22mm ones.
takashi
Thanks for confirming... Because I am 100% sure that Navi World is significantly bigger than normal Navitimer.
