JL1971
Hello everybody, I am interested in a Pam 212. I found it by andrew and I found it by Joshua. When I am looking at the pictures they look the same to me. Also the specs are in my believing the same. Only the price is different.... Are these the same Pam's 212 or are there differences.....? Who can help me to tell the difference...? Gr JL
jaclarkaus
From the photos, the crown guard pin is different, although in real life the actual piece you get might be identical Edited January 31, 2008 by jaclarkaus
Boostin500
This may be dumb but the website for Andrew and Josh have the same registered address, If that makes any difference:-)
yellomen
I didn't check their websites but i know there are two version at least... one with asian valjoux and one with venus copy movement. I think there where also upgrades with better dials, but i''m sure there are some experts who can comment on that
deltatahoe
the most accurate dial is on the handwind version of the pam 212; however, it doesn't have the reg t.m. engraving on the crown guard. all pam 212's (save the limited run AR coated versions andrew & trusty sold for a short period of time at the end of 2006) have mineral crystals.... hope this helps, deltatahoe
JL1971
Thank you for your reply's.... I think I go for the one from Joshua and save 80 dollars..... Or not..?
bazonkers
Did you ask them if they can get them? There was only one 212 being made recently any more and I've heard rumors that it isn't available. Edited January 31, 2008 by bazonkers
