old skool Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 Selling Pam homage GMT with ETA 2836 + "GMT module" http://cgi.ebay.com/GMT-WATCH-v2-44mm-STEE...7QQcmdZViewItem
peepshow Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 I can tell you that it is Homer. I would assume that's the same modified 2836-2 that's in most of the Swiss GMT reps that we see.

I am curious about how it functions, how reliable it is, how easy it is to have serviced, etc.

Lyndonville Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 You might want to check this seller out. I've exchanged a number of emails with him and he DOES know his stuff. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...Q3aMEFSQ3aMESOI

However, I do know someone who did. The first watch he got had a fogged crystal and oxidation on the movement. The replacement watch had bent hands that scratched the dial and a movement that works only intermittently with about 18 hours of reserve. Just FYI

I would stay away. You're in Charlotte, Lyndonville? We need to have a beer sometime and talk about watches!
