peepshow
I can tell you that it is Homer. I would assume that's the same modified 2836-2 that's in most of the Swiss GMT reps that we see.

I am curious about how it functions, how reliable it is, how easy it is to have serviced, etc.

Lyndonville
You might want to check this seller out. I've exchanged a number of emails with him and he DOES know his stuff. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...Q3aMEFSQ3aMESOI

I've exchanged a number of emails with him and he DOES know his stuff. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ2...Q3aMEFSQ3aMESOI I have not purchased from Helenarou. However, I do know someone who did. The first watch he got had a fogged crystal and oxidation on the movement. The replacement watch had bent hands that scratched the dial and a movement that works only intermittently with about 18 hours of reserve. Just FYI

I would stay away. You're in Charlotte, Lyndonville? We need to have a beer sometime and talk about watches!
