Breitlingfan
I haven't taken any chances with it but I would like to hear if anyone knows if it is or not. I figured the oushers may be a source of a leak in this watch . . .
Pugwash
Your best bet is to get yours tested. Just because one person's Carrera would be waterproof doesn't imply yours would be. There's no testing done on these watches at the factory and no certification by the dealers.

Mickey Padge
My friend has one, and the case back had no gasket/O-ring installed. Also the crown does not screw into a tube, like most watches. This is one rep I would have to highly doubt its waterproofness. Cheers
Breitlingfan
I'll get it tested and post my results. Thanks for the input! anton
FYI, Nothing's waterproof; just water-resistant. How well it is sealed or pressurized (or not) determines it's resistance-ness. Try taking it into the shower with you. Most watches should be able to bear that.
Guest TheDude
I think the word is resistance, not resistance-ness.lol
