Your best bet is to get yours tested. Just because one person's Carrera would be waterproof doesn't imply yours would be. There's no testing done on these watches at the factory and no certification by the dealers.

Totally agree...assume it isn't..and find out!

There is only one way to know...TEST IT.

My friend has one, and the case back had no gasket/O-ring installed. Also the crown does not screw into a tube, like most watches. This is one rep I would have to highly doubt its waterproofness.

FYI, Nothing's waterproof; just water-resistant. How well it is sealed or pressurized (or not) determines it's resistance-ness.

Try taking it into the shower with you. Most watches should be able to bear that.

I think the word is resistance, not resistance-ness.lol ;)
