The bracelets on the ETA versions appear to be better made and probably closer to the gen in appearance. predfan2001 Posted February 20, 2008 Report Share Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) I gave up on my rep SMP bracelets. I sanded and rounded till I thought it looked pretty good, then compaired mine to a gen and saw first hand how bad mine was. I got lucky and found a gen on eBay cheap ($100). Put it on my GMT but it required drilling new lugholes. Now it looks and feels right. If you really like the SMP (and who wouldn't) it's worth trying to find a used gen bracelet. I think I read here that some of the older reps had better bracelets but I'm sure it would be impossible to find one. Rep after rounding and shaping. Still thin and flat Gen bracelet.
