Pictured here is an Asian Unitas movement from a 113g that is suppose to have a seconds hand at 9. I want to put this in a 47mm case with a base dial so I will not be needing the seconds hand. How can I remove the seconds hand spindle without damaging the movement? Can it just be snipped without jarring anything inside the movement? Please help!

Do not pull that pin. It is the axis of a gear. Well, probably nobody has experience of doing this crazy task. This is noy very common

However, if I had to do it, I will cut the pin, employing pliers.
