bruce79
Pictured here is an Asian Unitas movement from a 113g that is suppose to have a seconds hand at 9. I want to put this in a 47mm case with a base dial so I will not be needing the seconds hand. How can I remove the seconds hand spindle without damaging the movement? Can it just be snipped without jarring anything inside the movement? Please help!

This is noy very common However, if I had to do it, I will cut the pin, employing pliers.
