bubu Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 Does anyone have info on the Breitling Flying "B"? The gen is beautiful. Does a rep exist? Thanks.
LegendofSpeed Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 a rep does exist.. but it is very low quality... having had a gen and the rep in my hand, i would say its something i would shy away from right now.... the rep looks too cheap..
ChronoKing Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 Hopefully one of the rep makers will step up and make a good rep of this watch....
Dizzy Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 They should make one. Its a very cool watch. They would have to get the movement right though. Is there an ETA jump hour?
anton Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 They should make one. Its a very cool watch. They would have to get the movement right though. Is there an ETA jump hour? It is a modified ETA 2892-A2 with Dubois-Depraz 14400 Jump-Hour Complication. And in case you were wondering if there is a "rep version" of this movement, read this: Alpha Jump Hour Watch So a Flying B impossible??? I think not!
doc savage Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 There are a lot of budget versions of this watch. The GEN: The REPS: It looks like the reps are stuck with the minute hand centered with the crown, so they play around with the dial layout to make it work. Even with the huge flaws, it does have a working jump hour function, and it's not a bad looking watch.
Dizzy Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 Interesting.. would be nice to see one with the same quality as the Ultimate BCE rep. The date window and font on these reps is pretty small though.. its already hard enough to read on the gen watch. Heres a pic of a Gen i used to have... bought it and flipped it for a couple bux profit.
bubu Posted February 27, 2008 Author Report Posted February 27, 2008 doc savage are these sites watch-ebay,ufantezone reliable thanks tooth
