rodwc
It`s getting that time of year when the wind starts to pick up, and dust the Blokart off for a spin. The max. my son and I have been up to is 81 k.p.h. with 50 knot winds blowing. That was along a 12 km. stretch of hard packed sand at Sandy Point , in Gippsland , Victoria. He looked at me and said," you know we are mad don`t you"? Great fun , and simply amazing speeds. With the passenger seat attached, it helps the rig to stay on 3 wheels,-------- that is until you turn into the wind !!!!! WE have got 4 mtr. and a 3 mtr. sails, didnt bother with the 2 mtr. sail, as those are for gale force winds. The world record last time I heard was 91 kph. This is a sport / pastime / good fun for anyone between 10 and 80 . Getting on the first time is the hardest part, then you cant wait for the next big winds. cornerstone
Wow that looks a lot of fun. 81 kph with your arse on the floor would be, shall we say, brown trouser time!
