Submariner - Issue with the Crystal and Bezel alignment

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone could help me. I recently purchased a Submariner after a ton of reading.. My problem is the Crystal. it is not even going across in relationship to the bezel. one side is almost flush to the bezel, and the 9:00 side is much higher. How do i fix this minor affliction?

If you're sure it's the crystal and not the bezel insert that's sitting higher on one side, then all you have to do is press the crystal back into place; you might even be able to do it by laying it flat and applying pressure with the side of your hand.

I am sitting here at my desk, eating lunch and posting my question...... I did exactly as you said....... other than a slight mark on my desk, ...IT WORK PERFECTLY!!! Thank you sooo much. I thought for sure I would break or crack something. But it lines up quite nicely now.

Isn't it great to find an easy fix? Otherwise, you would have been looking at removing the crystal and resetting it. It ain't that hard but you need a crystal press and maybe a few other tools.
