anyone know what mods are done to the gen IST 7750 movement?

How do you sort out the datewheels if you swap to an ETA 7750 ?

Is it possible to get it with black datewheels, or are the fonts wrong anyway ?

Can you remove the day and datewheels from the rep Asian 7750 and put it on the ETA?

I believe the silver version was a somewhat rare version. The white is in fact correct as well.

I don't believe there is a genuine stark white model,... the 'silver' dial, I believe,

has been called that for the off white color, which is closer to an egg shell white.

That's why, though I own both, black and white, I prefer the black for accuracy sake.

I think you may be right, Richard. I received a "white" dial today, and under certain lighting, it is ever so slightly silver. The difference with the inner bezel is startling when I pop the dial without the movement into the empty case. I certainly learned something today.
