Watchmeister
I was wearing my 231 today when I walked into an AD and saw the gen. An obvious flaw is the lack of brushing on the top of the bezel. Can you lightly brush the plating to achieve that effect or do you end up staring at base metal? UncleJay
I believe the Scotch-Brite pad may work on a good plating. I may try it wet to reduce the friction.
alt.watch.obsessive
A micron is 1/1000 of a millimeter so I'd be careful.
Watchmeister
I may give the scotch brite a try. The lack of brushed finish drives me nuts. And correct me if I am wrong, but I should be able to try it without taking the watch apart as it is a sapphire crystal.
