fitmic Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 I am a ordinary middle class player, aged 31, single without kids, out chasing women and partying most of the time. What PAM would suit me? An 111, a fiddy? Please help me out! (this might be a question for that four eyed woman in the other thread? )
pubus Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 111 i quess... most ppl here took it as their first one.
thealphabeta Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 111h was my first Pam and still my favourite, you wouldnt be dissapointed. New watch and new strap sorted!! Dont even go out with that rep strap on!
Dario33 Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 111h is a classic and a great place to start.
fitmic Posted June 20, 2006 Author Report Posted June 20, 2006 As being a PAM newbie. What's the difference between the G and H-series? And, YES, I will send the watch to Finepics for re-luming!
pubus Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 As being a PAM newbie. What's the difference between the G and H-series? the difference is in movement and dial, G series have engraved mvnt and 'flat' dial, H series has no engravings on the mvnt and sandwich dial.
ehtolcad Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 if you want something flashy, get it on bracelet don't start with the fiddy, it's too amazing to be your starter
Chronus Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Get something simple, say a 187 with ETA 7753
ehtolcad Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Get something simple, say a 187 with ETA 7753 peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee that or the limited edition luminor urina
GhostfaceZX Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 My first and only PAM is the 090 from King and I like it a lot...deployant clasp on leather strap, date, power reserve, and subseconds. The 111 is too plain for my tastes.
savage_here Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 I think for flash, if you can pull it off, the choice is the fiddy. You will definitely get more looks, questions, comments on the fiddy (or another 47mm like the 217) than the 44mm's. If you think a $10K watch is too much, then I would say go for the 111h.
infinitime Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 i would suggest a 005, solid back hides many of the obvious errors.
Lollipop Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Definitely the 111, the polished case is much more attractive than the fiddy.
