Ztech Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 I second that , how thick can you go i thought mine was a but extream Isn't there an unwritten rule that a strap cannot be thicker than your thumb? I thought I heard that somewhere.
doc savage Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Isn't there an unwritten rule that a strap cannot be thicker than your thumb? I thought I heard that somewhere. Only if you want to beat your wife with it; at least that's what I overheard at the meat-packing plant.
Ztech Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 Only if you want to beat your wife with it; at least that's what I overheard at the meat-packing plant. I think you're referring to the middle eastern law where husbands can beat their wives with nothing thicker than their fingers.
doc savage Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 I think you're referring to the middle eastern law where husbands can beat their wives with nothing thicker than their fingers. It's the rule of thumb... Connor: Basically the rule of thumb here is... Rosengurtie: Wait, rule of thumb? In the early 1900s it was legal for men to beat their wives, as long as they used a stick no wider than their thumb. Connor: Well, can't do much damage with that then, can we? Perhaps it should have been a rule of wrist?
Ztech Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 It's the rule of thumb... They didn't know about aluminum back then did they? Or should I say carbon fiber?

Words to live by: And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee. And who didn't love the part where Rocco was screaming about the cat? Are those thick-type straps available anywhere pre-made? I'm a little curious about them now.
