old skool Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 I love my Triton diver and I have been actively trying to put together some straps for it that really set it off. I put this one together just recently. It has the one thin sewn-in keeper with thinned strap. So when it sits on the wrist, the keeper doesn't add any thickness and thinning of the keeper itself keeps it tight to the strap also. It is kind of a necessity on these 6+mm thick straps. I also added in a sewn in ss keeper ring that fits to the thinned part of the strap so that it doesn't add any thickness either. The final narrow floating keeper is optional. I haven't decided if I need it yet or not. Here are my other favorite for this watch: This one is really rugged and still breaking in. I've had this one for a while but I don't wear it on this watch as much lately. Then there was this one: Another favorite is my Watchadoo bracelet: What do you think? Which suits it best?

Yannou Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 (edited) Any wristshots ? I'm looking for this watch but don't know how it will fit my wrist.... Edited May 7, 2008 by Yannou
old skool Posted May 7, 2008 Author Report Posted May 7, 2008 Only a bad one, but there are others out there...check out forums.watchuseek.com There is a Debaufre section with lots of pictures of the Triton.
professor_yaffle1 Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 The second one, that battered/weathered tan strap looks the nuts.................in fact it looks so good that both the watch (which is actually a Steinhart Triton over here in Europe), and that strap have been on my list of 'must haves' since I spotted it whilst browsing your trade section Hope you've got some of that leather left..........

Thank you very much. I do still have some of that leather left. I have a very similar strap with slightly less character but much more supple for sale pre-made in my section. Check it out if you like.
