paneristi_man
hi, I'm thinking of getting this rep from paul. http://www.pam111.com/product_info.php?cPa...roducts_id=1154 has anyone bought this before and could you post some pics of it? can the experts pls comment abt the accuracy. this rep is a manual wind which is the same as the gen; apart from that just looking at some of the pics in the internet i can't pick any diff. thanks,
giorgio
*Subdials are too far apart *Missing 3:00 and 9:00 markers (to make up for subdial spacing) *Outer ring should be closer to rehaut *Tachymeter says 220 at 6 telemetre - should be 200 *Missing "swiss made" print inside outer ring on dial ...and that's just the dial So, close - but not even close... If you're trying to pull off a $25K watch - you're not going to fool anyone who knows - and anyone who doesn't would think this is on par with a $50 Timex. giorgio
No prob. It's a nice enough watch, would go very well with a nice shirt - just not accurate as a rep.
yellomen
Maybe it's not the most accurate replica... but it is a beauty IHMO. I love the white/silver dial with guilloche, the vintage look of the 2-subdial chono and the blue chrono hands. Very nice looking watch
hackR
This watch has a couple different versions with slight differences...the problem i'm finding is good pictures with details of the dial imprint and the color of hands and markers... What color SHOULD the following be: 1. minutes and hour hands 2. running seconds hand 3. 9 o'clock subdial hands 4. 3 o'clock subdial hands 5. number markers 6. dot markers Is there a "best" version?...if so, who has it and why?...for me, "best" is good quality detail of the guilloche dial, accurate'ish hand/marker colors, movement, strap, etc...although most seem to have advertised "lemania" movement (seagull, i believe) and same/similar strap/buckle... thanks - R Maybe it's not the most accurate replica... but it is a beauty IHMO.
