First, a before pic...

I scratched my insert at the 3 o'clock position. So, I pm'ed some experts (thanks for all your help) and got some good advise. I went on ebay and purchased an aftermarket insert.

I first asked my wife for her nail file, but it was at her office :( . So, I opened up my Swiss Army knife keychain, and used that file. I filed down along the outside edge and then along the inside edge. I filed a little at a time, so as to not take too much off. I also kept test fitting the insert to the bezel. When the fit was perfect, I got out my contact cement and lightly dapped glue on the insert and bezel using a q-tip. After the pieces were mated together, I put my bezel back on.

And voila...

A very easy and inexpensive upgrade. Picture quality not very good due to poor light in basement.

Next project on the 5513 will probably be some painting to the hands and hour markers.

Ah yes, looks like the TWG 5513, judging by the yellow hue. Replacing the bezel is a good start and then aging the dial would go a long way towards making it a better rep. I plan on doing the same to mine!

Ironically, the crown guards aren't bad, I don't plan on doing anything to mine.
