Tom Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Obviously it would be amazing to put a swiss 7750 in the watch, and that is something I may consider, but what other mods has anyone done to this already great watch?
Watchmeister Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Of course the double benefit of a Swiss movement are the ETA standard datewheels and proper alignment. I have always wondered whether the 2007 gen has a lumed inner bezel. That is the only other one that comes to mind if it is the case.
Dani Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 I was at my IWC ad on friday seems the orange in the rotaing bezel is thick and just what you woud call a medium dark orange color. Did not look like lume to me but i can be wrong their.
pizzanooo Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Here`s a pic of the gen lume. Only difference from the rep is the hand on the 9:00 o`clock sub is lumed on the gen, and rep is`nt.
HauteHippie Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Interesting, pizza.... So the inner ring is lumed on the Slevin but not the CD?
_brian_ Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Interesting, pizza.... So the inner ring is lumed on the Slevin but not the CD? Yes, interesting... I
takashi Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 Pizza is correct. Only the dots and numbers from .... to 15 is lumed on the inner rotating bezel. As for the needle, only running second at 9 is lumed on the genuine but not on the rep. Here is mine:
malumouse Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 Hey taka...does this lume also go for the 2006 COUSTEAU??? The inner bezel on the gen is not lumed???
takashi Posted August 2, 2008 Report Posted August 2, 2008 On 2006 the inner bezel white part is lumed.
