I am looking at an IWC Ingeniuer but don't know whether to go for the chrono or non-chrono. Does anyone have any thoughts as to whether either of them are better? I take it that the chrono has the Asian and the non has the ETA movement?

Thanks!

go for regular ss, non chrono version, great watch, very accurate and eta movement, just search the board and you will find many reviews of this beauty.

Go forthe no chrono, have a look at the revues in my sig and the revies from Seadweller 4000 linked in there, this is a top watch, i would love to have the chrono but the seconds @6 movement scares me off.

Non Chrono

I keep seeing this Gen in the shop window of an expensive second hand AD dealer in the city. It Goads me when I walk past it, it knows I want it

Non-chrono.

It's an unusual watch. Sometimes I don't wear it for three weeks at a time and it can even start to look a bit ordinary to me. But when I do wear it, I don't want to switch watches for days. It really comes into its own when you see and feel it on your wrist. For example, this has been a solid Ingy week for me.

Non chrono,

very high quality while the chrono has the notorious problem with seconds at 6. But even if the chrono had no issues, I'd prefer the non-chrono, more classical.
