triplehd
Look as this POS Planet Ocean on fleebay. Looks like the 1st version PO. Wrong datefield, color, short & incorrect hands, pearl, etc. just to name a few. He gives the definition of a chronometer (how nice) and then states: I am not affiliated with OMEGA, nor do I represent them in any way. (This is not a trademark) Fake PO

andreww
He's also got this TAG up for auction as well. One crap pic plus one gen pic leads me to believe its a fake as well http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-GENTS-TAG-HE...1QQcmdZViewItem
LordRasta
The buyer protection is usually a good tell. $200 for a gen Omega?
triplehd
I sent an email to the seller, being polite, informing him that this is not a gen, but a poor excuse sh*t rep trying to be pass as a gen. (Thanks Guanaco for the report). I think some ebay buyers who think they're getting a deal should do some research. Its not hard to compare these pics in the auction to ones from Omega.com. If it seems to good to be true, well.......
guanaco
I had to send a message to the winning bidder warning him about the fake on the Tag and the Omega, the scammer ended the auction early to collect the money before eBay could shut down the auction, damn scammers! If you can send them a message as well stating they were bidding on fakes so that they won't think we're joking.
guanaco
BTW this is the message I got from the seller: Screw you, go report me to who ever you want. Dont give a [censored], i aint no scam. Am tired of dumb ass people like you judging people without knowing. I took it off because people like you cry your ass off over stupid [censored]. I dont have the time and patients to talk or read your stupid emails. No surprise there.
triplehd
Ha, I told him that I worked for a high-end watch chain that works exclusively with Omega and that he better cancel the auction or I'd report him. What an ass.
guanaco
Hahaha good one triplehd, hopefully the buyers will take our advice and ignore the seller.
