Watchmeister
I just received a set of handwind Marina hands. The hour and minute hands are black. I would swear the leaf second hand is white. Is this normal for a particular series? I never realized that I don't own any 44mm marina gen's that have Luminova hands so I couldn't answer the question myself. dluddy
Correct. The seconds hand is always white on Marina's
peepshow
Except for the 082 which has a black seconds hand.
Watchmeister
Thanks guys. With a certain kick-ass historic cg on the way, gen handwind crown and a Jimmy case set up the question becomes what to build. Any suggestions? Logo is pretty obvious but as far as I know there is no truly great rep dial or caseback available. Okay, PAMaholics please weigh in.
Sir-Lancelot
Sad about the logo dials. One can dream tho.
fishgodeep
K- safest option is going to be an 005 - if you want to use an historic CG...... Failing that - 111-G - but then you have the movement and caseback to consider One day a better 005 and 001/111G dial will be made ...I assure you... peepshow
A modded DSN 203/A dial? The 12 and 3 are spot on, with the seconds at 9 that really only leaves the 6 as a flaw....
gianton
With all these and a DSN 201A dial will make you a kick ass combo. Let us posted!

peepshow
Me, too, D. That's why I wasted no time in snagging this one from babola when he said he was going to sell it.
Watchmeister
My CG is coming from the same place. My theory is to always buy at least one of any project being undertaken by an RWG member. It helps get the project off the ground and you never know. Look at the Rolex vintage datewheel project, watchmaster cyclops or Lello crowns and datewheels. They don't always work perfectly but you are damn glad they happened.
