I thought you guys might find this interesting. So I purchased a GEN Diver Pro Strap for my SOH. I got it home and installed it and noticed that there was a gap between the band and the lugs. After some reasearch and some info from some of the other forum members I realized that I had the wrong size band for my watch. The Diver Pro comes in three different sizes, 18/20,22/20 and 24/20 I believe. Anyway the SOH takes the 24/20, I got the 22/20. So what was I to do? I could spend another $85 to get the bigger size(I still may).

Enough of my long story. It drove me crazy with the gap between the band and the lugs. So I started thinking about what I could do to fill the gap. I came up with some very small o-rings, just the right size to go over the ends of the spring bars and about 1mm in width. Once I got them over the ends of the spring bars they filled the gap nicely. I know that this might not work for the super picky. But it is just quirky ;) enough of a fix that makes me like it. Besides I've seen enough strange stuff on lots of watches that unless someone really knows what it is supposed to look like, no one would know the difference anyway. It has kind of grown on me so I may just leave it and spend the money on something else (more watch stuff of course). Check out the Photos and I hope you enjoy!

Unless you know to look for it, it is not really noticeable.

Find your nearest friendly AD. You can go on the Brietling web site to find it. Not much luck finding these online. Sometimes over at the Time Zone forums one will pop up for sale. For the $85 it cost to buy a new one from the AD, it is worth the peace of mind having a new one and one that you know is GEN for sure. Good Luck.

Elegant and natural appearing solution to a problem that really needed an aesthetically pleasing solution to make it work. Cheers
