  1. Really is one of my favorite Pam subs. Fantastic piece bro. Love that dial!!
  2. I'm diggin the trio bro. The Vegas is a good looking AP. I love the touch of red!
  3. I've never been much of a vintage man myself, but you've got one BEAUTIFUL collection. Stunning pictures. The lighting is the best. Really helped capture the aged look of those dials. You really do have one amazing collection bro. Now you've got me thinking......vintage!!
  4. Wonderful pictoral and review. I really do LOVE that dimple'd dial. Everything looks great and seems like a pretty high quality build and buy.
  5. Damn I'm lovin those lume dots. That yellow'd aged look against the white dial and paired with the high polish of the case and bezel insert are SWEET!!!!! Beautiful franken bro. Nice work The Zigmeister!
  6. Wow bro. Beautiful watch. That dial is STUNNINGLY beautiful!!!
  7. I owned a DSN 112 and was VERY pleased with it. I had to replace the CG because DSN's was really bad...worse than the crppy CG you get on a $99 cartel PAM rep. Besides that little issue, it was a stellar rep. Lume was off the charts. The ss case was highly polished. And the dial text was stellar. I've never owned a DSN 082, but from the pics i've seen, it's a high quality piece.
  8. It's sure an interesting watch. I don't think I could pull it off, but it'd be fun to own someday. My only question is why does it look like all of the DSN versions have smudged text, and the dial never looks centered in the case? Is this some "vintaging" technique. Either way, cool watch. Nice comparison photos. Wear that lion with pride!!!
  9. I LOVE that DLC. Does it "adhere" better to the Ti or does it really matter? i'll be it's nice and light! Nice contrast in tone with the SS crown and cg-pin. Looks stealth and sharp.......'specially on that stitchless croc. Is it baby hornback? cheers~
  10. very nice. good collection of pams!!

    PAM 243

nice buy bro. alsays liked this one!!
  12. Thanks Stephane. I'm planning on getting more snapped this week.
  13. Thanks guys. All comments and suggestions appreciated!
  14. With the rep conversion kit, they fit like a charm. The only problem that I've had getting them to fit is with my new AP Bands Ragnatela calf strap. It seems to be a little thick where it connects to the case, so I used the "looser" fitting Oracle Straps conversion kit. When I say "looser" fitting, I don't mean that when the kit is in, it rattles around, it just has a different fit than the rep conversion kit. They seem to be a little longer than the rep conversion kit, so it works PERFECTLY for my Ragnatela strap! Thanks for the comment. It's truly one of the most beautiful watches I've ever attempted to photograph. I didn't think it got much better than my old (now sold off) UPO, but the brushing of the steel, and the dial texture are so photogenic.
  15. It's the standard AP Black Themes sec@12 strapped to an AP Bands carbon fiber with rep conversion kit. Second pic is on the rep bracelet. Third pic is with my 201a. AP is mounted on AP Bands shark, and 201a is on Heroic Shark. Click to enlarge. Let me know what you think of the pics. I tried!
  16. Love it, Love it, Love it! For sure one to add to the collection! Excelletn pics and write-up!
  17. love the review bro. wonderful pics! never really gave much consideration to the RO due to its size, but now from your pics, I'm thinking one for my collection might be in order.
  18. AP Bands, to my knowledge, hasn't started shipping the new rubber straps. I placed my order for 2. Got them a little cheaper for ordering early. in November, the price goes up. I'm not sure about how well they fit or don't. But as soon as it arrives and I can get it mounted, I'll let you know how it works out! Thanks for the comments everybody.
  19. I started with collecting PAMs when I first got into watches. I really liked them because the ability to switch out a strap was easy, and there were (and still are) endless combinations. I started getting into AP's about a year ago. I love the dial layout, and case construction, but I always thought they were too small seeing as though the only reps I'd owned yet had been the 44 and 47mm PAMs, a Super Avenger, and a UPO. I decided to take the plunge, get ahold of one of my favorite dealers here on the boards, and place an order. Over the last 6-8 months I've sold off the majority of my collection(reduced it to my HIGHLY modded PAMs)so I had enough cash to splurge and get the seconds @12. She came about a month or two ago from SEAD but I didn't have a chance to get photos taken until this weekend. The watch originally came on the rep SS bracelet, which(IMO)is the highest quality bracelet on ANY rep that I've owned. The brushing is immaculate, the clasp is sturdy, and fit to the case was PERFECT. I wanted to get a nice Carbon Fiber strap so I wore it on the bracelet until I could get a second hand rep rubber with conversion kit. Purchased the rubber, mounted it, then went on the hunt to develope a large collection of beautiful straps for her. To date, I've got the rep SS bracelet, rep Rubber, Oracle Straps Kevlar, AP Bands Carbon Fiber, AP Bands Prototipo Ragnatela, and my beloved AP Bands Lungomare Chocolate Shark. The hardware I've got is an AP Bands Bar and Cap Set, AP Bands Case (lug) Screws (they DO NOT fit the rep case by the way), AP Bands 18mm buckle, Oracle conversion kit, Oracle Bar and Cap Set, and rep Conversion Kit. The ability to have a number of strap options is key in maintaining the "love at first sight" reaction I have with any of my reps. Here are some pics of what I've got so far. Enjoy it geeks!! ~Navy Ragnatela~ ~Chocolate Shark~ ~Carbon Fiber~ ~group shot of "what I got" (was listening to Sublime this morning..lol)~ If there's anyone out there that had been considering diving into AP Roo's, there's no better time than right now. They're a beautiful size, look amazing on the wrist, and are a true thing of beauty! Thanks to all of the members here that helped answer my very NOOB questions on conversion kits, and places to buy the best straps. Can't thank you enough!
