AP Bands just released their new Scuta 100% Rubber Straps for the ROO. I think they look great, although considerably more expensive than the rep and don't come with endlinks. If you've got the endlinks already, it looks to be a pretty good deal. I ordered 2 last night (1 Black, 1 Red). I think they're a great deal. Another good reason for picking up a strap from AP Bands is that if you do a review on your newly arrived strap for their website to display, you get $25 bucks off your next order. Now thats a REALLY good deal.

Great review bro. I just picked up one second hand that's got chief double AR. Makes an already stellar dial look stunning. only downside to mine was the dang crown. Stripped after the first timechange. Not too big of an issue. Ordered a gen replacement crown and tube from Ofrei, and just need to send her out to have it replaced. Excellent pics, and wonderful review.

Hells yeah bro. Beautiful work. I couldn't believe the difference just that date wheel did to "liven" it up alone. That combined with the dial, hands, bezel and pearl make it a total keeper. I hope you NEVER sell this one. Excellent work!

Did a search, found a mention to cousinsuk. Did a search on the website, and found the datewheel section. http://www.cousinsuk.com/catalog/4/75/328.aspx Make sure you enter 7750 for the ETA calibre then hit search. Scroll halfway down til you see lots of those blue Info boxes on the left hand side. **Will the "Date Indicator 3 o'clock Black numbers on White background" work for a date wheel mod on my SMP chrono? I've already done a little updating to it with a Gen crown and tube, I was just looking to replace the DW to give it that one last push towards a Gen feel. Thanks for the help.

i had the same issue with my SMP Chrono. I purchased a Gen crown and tube to replace the replica. You can get them for a reasonable price from Otto Frei. It's the ultimate fix.

So I got paid yesterday (along with all of the other teachers in the state of Nebraska), and once I checked my account to be sure the money was tehre, I jumped on APbans.com to see if there was anything I couldn't live without. I'd always had my eye on one of ther 24mm taper straps. They've always looked pretty good, and since I had a $20 dollar discount for doing a review on their shark strap and posting it on their site, I thought now was a great time to buy. When I was scrolling through, I looked at the top of the page and noticed they had a banner up advertising that Alinghi Team straps and conversion kits were coming soon. I don't own one of the Alinghi watches, but I've noticed that some of you do, and thought you'd appreciate the update. Cheers from a beautiful hump day morning in Omaha! off to teach some kids~

I'm T totally new at this, but from the research and assistance i've gotten from bros on the boards, Oracle is also a preferred brand. But if you want to put a leather, rubber, carbon fiber, etc onto a ROO that came with a bracelet, you've got to get a conversion kit. It was recommended to me from a number of members to get a rep rubber strap that came wtih conversion kit instead of purchasing one from APbands. The price difference is very large and some have said that the rep kit works just fine. My Black Themes is sleighted for delivery today, and I should be getting my rep rubber with conversion kit sometime next week. I'll let you know how the switch goes. I plan to get a kevlar Oracle strap in the next few weeks once I get paid again. I hope this was of some assistance.

I've read plenty of posts that warn against taking the screws out to chance the bracelet to a strap, but as a Panerai guy, I know i'm going to want some other options. I've also done a lot of searches dealing wtih the conversion kits, but I'm just soo confused, it's not even funny. Last thing I want to do it spend big bucks on an AP strap and it not work. I'd eventually like to get a wide variety of straps for it, so please advise on any kid of strap you think I should get. I think it looks great bro. Truly a classic PAM. One of the best places to start. Easy additions/improvements would be lume, crown guard pin mod, cannon pin looks good. Not much else!!
