I've been bitten by the G-SHOCK bug (as I usually do this time of year). So to satisfy this craving, I wen't ahead and bought this lovely white Rasta. Took delivery 2 days ago, and have been in love with it ever since. Took my Vespa for a ride this afternoon to do a little grocery shopping. God I love this weather!!!

Good call on the relume of the hands. I'll probably get that done when I send off my next project. Thanks for the warm words!! THe watch was a big hit at Easter lunch today.

After a years worth of collecting parts, she's back from up North and onto my wrist. This was the first Panerai that I saw when first researching the brand. The simplicity of the dial and case set-up really set it off for me. The parts used were: Andrew SS case with Genuine sapphire, FGD dial, DSN hands, t_48 crown, and unknown source CG. Only part that isn't correct is the caseback, I'm waiting on word from a fellow member about it, then she'll be complete! Thanks to The Zigmeister for making this mans dream come true. She's a true beauty.

I picked mine up a week ago from SEAD (dealer over at RWG). Stunning rep, absolutly stunning. We all know the flaws of it, but even with them it's a stellar rep. And a different look with whatever strap you go with. Carbon Fiber w/deploy, rubber w/deploy, SC Anchor, PreV PAV style.....any strap it looks great. My only guff about the watch is the loads of dust under the crystal, but nothing an AR coat from Chief or K222 won't fix!! Good luck with your hunt, whoever you by from, you won't be disappointed!! here are some pics of mine~

I thought I saw a FGD 202a dial for sale either here or over at RG. Check the sales thread. Reguarding the V CG, just put some feelers out there in the wanted ads. they pop up from time to time. you may have to wait a while, but once you find one, it will have been worth the wait. From personal experience, the best case for the money would have to be Andrew's SS case with gen sapphire crystal. Thats what i'm using for my 201a project. if you can get ahold of the dial, PVD t_48 crown, and the ss case, you can get a really really nice DLC coating. In reguards to the CG, there's a JimmyFu CG for sale over at RG. Expensive but TOTALLY WORTH IT!! 1:1 specs to gen from what i've read. I hope this helps bro. Good luck wtih the hunt!

Just took delivery of a very very beautiful PAV style strap with a magnificently gen-like patina. The strap suggestions were correct. the PAV is a much more suitable fit for the style. and i've got my eye on a beautiful Kodiak with sewn in buckle for sale over at Paneristi. Thanks again for all of the positive comments. Every little suggestion like this helps.
