BCE Black Dial/BCE slate Dial

This is simply a question, and am not saying one is better over the other.

Why would anyone go to the trouble and expense of switching a slate dial with a black re-haute?

When a black dial/black re-haute is available.

Is it for the contrast between the slate dial and black re-haute? Or simply because it can be done ? or people prefer slate dials ?

To me there isn`t much difference between slate and black.

The slate dial has black rehaut in genuine and if you like the slate dial, why not spend the $30 to make it look more like the gen? It cost less to do this mod than it does for AR or a relume. So it's a bargain in comparison and one step closer to the genuine.
