Any replicas with HRM?

Thanks b16a2, and pollux1!

Fair point pollux1 - but - I doubt if anyone would trust a watch with HRM to do any serious reading anyway! As far I am concerned, its yet another feel good reason to get out and going..! :D

Now to be honest I don't really know much about replicas and the mechanisms behind them, but I thought HRM monitoring sensors or whatever are fairly low tech (digital and easy to, well, replicate)... thought it would have made its way into replicas... mea culpa..!

Most replica collectors wouldn't buy a digital rep. We're mainly mechanical collectors.

On top of that, I don't think anyone who buys modern digital does so for the aesthetics. Digital watches are feature-driven, so you'd be as well making your own version and selling it cheaper than making an illegal copy.

Polars are probably the most popular. I use a Sigma Sports one...pretty basic, but works fine. I don't use a lot of the tracking features...I just want target highs and lows, and alarms when I dip below/above targets.

There are GPS ones as well...but these things suck batteries.
