Be careful. This is a guy who sells a lot of fake rolex bridges and dials. They are very high quality, but not authentic. My guess is that it is a real val 72 with the rolex markings added.

Agree- Looking at the pics, the dial is not original. Some tell tale signs that give it away...

This guy routinely sells replica cases, which have been aged to look authentic. Check out the 6239 case he just sold...he actually stated that it was probably not genuine.

Yes, no doubt that the pieces are very nice...The problem is that people assume genuine, and bid acordingly. Just watch to see where this auction closes...

BTW, microstella are not a good telltale, as they weren't unique to Rolex...I've got a Wittnauer VJ72 with a micostella balance wheel.

Here you go (sorry, don't have any closeups handy...but you can see the balance wheels in this picture). Actually, both my Wittnauer and my Enicar have the microstella. As far as I know, the frequency is 18k, like other 72's.

sorry but don't seems to have a microstella balance ...

rolex cal. 722 and 727 have Breguet Overcoil & MicroStella Balance ... it was an only rolex mod.

...It is present on both of my 72's, it was not there on a 726 that I had, and I have never seen it on a genuine 727.

the overall condition of this movement are not good... but i think it's genuine at 90% ...probably some parts come from a not rolex movement used like spare part...

but you must think that to have a this movement to start a rep. it's different to start using a non rolex movement...

at the end you must only find a good serial number for the case....

for the part you are telling i'm agree....
