and phosphor? i found this on the net...this don't require light to recharge... http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/12/new_light_glows.php good idea...i will try to seek also this direction... but what we need is not tritium only.... but a mixed composite made by tritium and phosphor (tritium give to phosphor the energy to light...)

i know Ubi i used it for a while... but you must know that tritium radiation is not so strong to pass plastic so to use it are needed glows and to remember to use every time the same stick... there are more risks using a dremel while polishing an iron case.... from wiki... thanks Randi all is going well... hope the same for you... thanks for the interest ...let me know for the pearl (looking for the one on the 5517)... i was tring to build interest about Tritium, cause making franken with Luminova bring to a bad final result... you know i make only hi profile franken ...but every time i want to refine a dial i must torture myself using superluminova.... the final result is fine ...but not the best i can reach... i have had and used tritium on vintage dials ... but i've finished it from 5-6 years ago ( it was from my GF workshop...) i know that tritium is used by gun manufacturer for the "night dot"

i'm tired about Luminova and S-Luminova.... (as i told in another topic ...) so i was trying to find a Tritium provider or a way to have a bit... vintage dials with Luminova seems like monsters.....they loose the feeling with their age... so after telling that ... any idea? ---------------- an example to explain why i would like to find some tritium... here -

aged genuine tritium become next to the pink colour if you have kept the watch in a safe ...not under the light.... aged genuine tritium become more yellow if you have worn the watch ...with the light ...

no not only ofrei has them.... i've bought some from a watchmaker supply store in my city...at the same cost... these pearl don't seems to be like the old gen only cause the gen were fitted with tritium... that has different caracteristic if you want to know how these "new" vintage pearl seem look at the white one on the UBI pic... the only things you can do is to buy one of these...and mod this with coloured luminova or... if you are luky with a bit of radioactive tritium...

i'm on trouble... cause i ever used fast delivery service from China but this time the dealer is telling that there are some inspections problems due the next olimpic times....so he can't use UPS FEDEX TNT DHL.... seems to be a a lot of lies.... do anybody know if these problems are real or are lies?

the worst part i have is the classicwatch bezel insert.... this tells all.... on the left the good one... on the right the modded MBW (sold ) these are old pics... yes i know about the ugly bracelet... now there is another one... under is the good one under the MBW one (gone) inside...

after lost a lot of time modding case ....from some time i prefer to take vietnam case and to accept to make only few mods.... if many people calculate the cost of all the mods to make starting from a worst case (and to have a worst result),this cost could be so next to the vientnam case cost that all become to easy to decide.... more... i have found many franken arround.... but none is so close to the gens as the Phong ... M (sorry for my bad english)
