these are the first pics i have about the watches i know there are some mistakes ..... i have answered to silix boys some opinion about the ref.6202 (vintage turn-o-graph) deeply wrong in the dial... now i have no time to look well the others... so please leave here your suggest i hope to send more pics in the next ours/days

it depends from the origin of the movement.... i have had this one from some years... i was waiting only a good "new home" for this one .... starting this project i would like to use another one but it was into a watch of my wife .... i was planning to put into a "swatch auto movement" and to take it over to use for my franken....eheheh but thinking better i could be killed .... so i used the one you see.... now i'm thinking new time to the other 1030 to make a 6538.....eheheheh.... if you will read about a man killed in Bologna Italy by a wife you will know why..... about your 6542 project? mine is becoming the last of the list..... M

as you can see i've found some dials for my experiment.... but i want to give to all a preview.... the pics i've posted before come from a modded MBW... but i have a gen case of this ref. .... yes a gen case.... so i've found a good dial .... a gen crown and a rol*x cal.1030 (1080 cost as a maserati....) so only for all you my two 6541.... on the left you can see the one with the gen case and the 1030 ( i have no time now to do other pics... in the next time i will show the particulars...) thanks to classicwatch parts for the bezel and the hands....

i will see the next week what to do.... i hope to keep it ... but i have some problems... first my wife .... i have a big safe .... but it's full..... i know... i have many watches.... but i can't maintain the safe password secret to my wife.... so i have bought a second safe... i told her for my work documents..... (ehhehehehe....) she can't know this password.... but i have also this one full.... now i should sell some watches... my choice will fall on reps.... next week i know if one of my friends want some of them.... after we will see if yes i will put a regular topic in the regular section i don't want that this topic could seem an advertise ...... for now ( and i hope for ever...) this watch is not for sale..... many thanks to all you for your comments.... i would like to find an original iron internal sub case.... is there someone who can help me? it's not for this one... it's for the principal project....

i have had this one from a reliable member here... but i have had some spare parts to use (for one other project.... ) so i've started to mod also this one... lug holes drilled case softly aged dial softly aged tube and crown changed with original rolex spare parts bezel fixed (MBW did't turn when come here) to be not too many free and not to many hard to turn... bezel insert changed with a more beautifull insert ( the MBW one was terrible....) POLEY MBW 6541 modded....

my suggest... Doc you know i have some 6541 in progress... one finished started from a MBW bought recently (tube, crown,cristal,gently aged dial ,lug holes drilled ,aged case and repolished,bezel insert changed...) .... and one starting from a gen case where i have put a 1030 R*l*x caliber that need only the gen hands and the gen bezel insert .... i am really proud of them... (obviosly more for the second one....) but i'm planning to give away the first one to turn the money into my 6542 project.... i'm only wait to find a good case to start the 6542...but i will never ...never give away the second one cause i consider it one of the most beautifull R*l*x so if you are glad about your 6541... keep it as now... when someone (s*LiX probably ) will come out with the new vintage series of Bonds probably will come out some interesting news about people with a 6542 in mind like we are.... keep in touch M

my latest best dial comes from ebay... but here we have some expo where you can find these dial and more..... i have an address in italy... but i suggest you to see the dial before buy it... if you are interested in knowing this address just PM me... i will surely share my info ...you can pay me back only telling where exactly have you bought this watch...

so we need to move our attention also to vietnam.... very good ....but find a better dial... can we see also the other side of the movement? and the internal details of the case next the pushers? i'm just curious....

i have a gen 6541 case ... back case ... crown ... tube ... bezel (no insert...) bezel ring... cover for the movement... ...... i have an MBW 6541 also....nothing else than dial and hands can be used in the gen.....looking to MBW seems to see another watch... seems to see a seiko one... it's my most important project ...i'm looking for a good bezel insert... and a 1030 rolex movement ( easy to change in 1080....)...(my wife has a rolex with a 1030 into...but i can't do this... i can't...) ...i will show my pics only at the end... why? ...leave me my tiny pleasure to do so.... eheheh i'm trying to find some one to do a sample based on this case... but don't ask for engravings and serial numbers...... i have not so many time now.... but as you know ...good things require time.... it seems to be an important thing about the one maden for first... i don't care about... i need only to know that it will be maden... silix boys , as you can see before in this tread...., have told that it will be maden... there are many people for 6538... there are many people for 6542 ...... but there are many people for both of them.... i'm one of these... in 1997....i have done the same with an explorer II Steve McQueen... 2.000.000 thousands italian lira.. (about 1100 euro) .... 1997 was not a great year..... every time i see this my friend with this watch i want to kill my self.... M
