gregers
I was wondering how easy it was to get hold of replacement movements. Asian 21js are easy and cheap to get hold of and Etas seem to be available at a price. But what about the other commonly used movements like the old and new 7750, the Venus and others? Is there any likelihood of being able to source any of these, should they ever be required?

Member Ajoesmith sells the A7750's in a standard 6-9-12 config for about $120...haven't heard of replacement Venus movements being sold though. AJS also sells a DG4813 high beat as a replacement to a lot of the Asian 21js'...Noobmariners, Asian SOSF, etc. DG2813's are cheap...around $13 from most suppliers.
