Great!

Keep them coming.

When everyone will have confirmed their agenda, hoping we can keep the 25th so that Vlydog can join, I will make a proposal for the GTG.

I will create an eMail list with everybody in Blind Copy so no big deal about privacy.

Again, being there for four days, and all of you guys might not be able to join at the same time, I'm still open to several one to one drinks too and I'm sure Jetsons too :D

@Stephane say hi to FWATCH for me, and make sure he does NOT buy another canal-street el cheapo breitling for 60$ or what was it? :p

:g: well I think it's more about getting toghether than buying watches ...at least to me :yeah:

Sure, Sure, but a trip to canal street is never wrong :) when i was in nyc we had dinner with ed and then we went to canal street right before we went back home or to the hotel (me) B) Noone had the intention of buying something, but FWATCH fell for a breitling (I still hope he posts some pictures of it some day)

Ahhh. My beautiful Breitling. Got to start modding that thing. I won't touch any of my reps 'cause I can't do small parts. But that 'thing' will be perfect encrusted with fine jewels. Or crushed glass, or maybe painted funny, or maybe a 'special edition'. We'll have to see. B)

Dear All,

We're about to put some more details online but we confirm it will happen on monday august 25th, meeting at 6PM.

Our local host Jetsons, already confirmed so did DLuddy and Vlydog.

We will pick this place for dinner in the end:

Pete's Tavern.

A casual one, affordable, with a fantastic bar you see what I mean :)

A Manhattan institution seen in Sex and the city.

I'm still missing eMail adresses from certain members:

EddHead

Jmt

Dave_Nyc

Archibald

Shundi

Its_Urabus

JbCb713

WarModder

These members have given their eMail:

Jojo35

Jmt

Redroom

Fwatch

JjFesq

The reason why I ask for eMails is because it makes things much easier to handle for me.

We need to book a restaurant, therefore we must know precisely who's in :D

Please keep us updated with your intentions and details.

Cheers

Stephane

With no disrespect intended, are we sold on Pete's?

I am sure with the locals help we could find some "cheap eats" that will not break the bank while offering something creative and fun.

Given a day or so I could provide several more suggestions. I have friends who work and live in NYC that could help.

Of course not.

It was a suggestion from Jetsons and me but I could even fancy a Burger King :)

As I said before, the idea is to get toghether, not to have a three star Michelin Restaurant ;)

Let's see the various proposals that will come in from other members who will confirm they come and we'll take it from there.

Man, I'm so exited !!!

OK, I am confirmed for arrival Saturday the 23rd at 1:30pm. I will be at the Sheraton, so anyone wanting to get together even as early as Saturday evening is fine with me. The only official business I need to do is Wednesday from noon till about 8pm. Stephane, I will send off my email addy to you now.

I'm a maybe. I have to get out to Yankee stadium this summer before they tear it down and might be able to coordinate the trip around this GTG.

TBD

Hey Bulldog ( :D ), that would be fantastic.

I'm in for a visit to the Yankee stadium !!!
