Timepiece Posted July 26, 2008 Report Share Posted July 26, 2008 (edited) Last year summer I bought a nice ceramic coated J12 ladies from Trusty. It was instantaneous success!! My wife never took it off for another watch since then... The watch goes with a lot of occasions and clothing! But having two small childeren the wear started to show. The ceramic coating came off at corners and other sensitive areas. Also the size: 28mm seemed not in line with the gen ladies version of 33mm. So I started a search for a nice full ceramic version. Again Andrew had the winning ticket. So yesterday it showed up (funny enough together with my new Skyland from Angus!) One day later the giftbox and (rep) papers were delivered. The full ceramic is much nicer, soft shiny and makes the first one look painted. The bezel is centered better than the one of last year, but feels more loosly attached to the case. Also the size is nicer and gives more presence to the watch. Printing on the back is different. Older version seems more 'gen', but I have not yet seen pics of a gen's caseback.
