Just for fun, Huge picture of Skyland Dial

Well I had to try my new lens/cam, so I gave it a shot. Not the best I can do, but will get better with time. (it is actually quite hard to get a good shot since the DOF is soooooo small..)

The fun is with the Big Version (10Mpixel file.. massive) but here is a smaller shot for preview.

Enjoy the misaligned lume dots and all the small flaws you don't see on your wrist :p

Photo Info:

Nikon D60 with Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di 1:1 Macro

Exposure: 30 seconds at f/45 (and still not enough hahaha)

Manual Focus, minimal Photoshop to crop and give a b/w effect.

OH MY GOD!!! Look at the horrible finish on that dial...the painted markers are all rough and jagged...In fact, all the printing is just terrible...and, there are a couple of dust particles that are as big as raisins!!!

Just kidding. Nice shot of a nice watch.

It's what we photo nerds call pixel peeping. :D

Do you mind if I have my neighbor who does custom poster prints print me up one for my wall?

I have a 28x72 poster of a gen 6263 on my wall.
