Hi Guys,

Just finished installing some OEM hands on my PAM27A, must say I am thrilled with the upgrade. The hands have an absolute perfect finish, a really lovely sight when the sun light hits then from an angle.

Put on my favorite strap of the moment, the Kaktus drifter with custom black stitch.

Enjoy,

Regards.

An absolute beauty! Congrats, wear it well!

May I ask where did you find gen hands for it?

Bought them off an eBay seller but, but they did not come cheap.

nice pick up...I saw the listing and that was some serious bidding on them...you have a unique franken right now...definitely one of my fav PAMs out there...I am considering PVD-ing mine to have the 028...

Thanks!

They did not come cheap, but I think that a correct central seconds hand like that you have there is worth.

Congrats once again!

Can someone explain to me what the difference is from the seconds hand? I have a 2892 movement PAM28 and I really dont see a difference. I'd like to learn something new today :)

The tip from the dot down is longer on the gen seconds hand....

Also the finish on the gen hands is

that's all true...but is it worth the 3/4/500$ or like a member is asking in the FS section 1500$ w/o the arrow PR hand ?

I'd say......NO!

3/4/500$?... 1500$??

Wow!

When I said it's worth, I did not suppose such figures.

Uhm... Considering that gen 028 go @10-13 k$ on auctions, and that a 2892-A2 028 rep is a 99.9% rep once it is re-PVDed, new cyclops, new DW, and new crown installed (all in all well over 1k$), I think that I might accept to spend up to 300$ more for the sake of bringing it to 99.99%.

On a 027, that cannot go over 99% accuracy due to the lack of recessed PR scale, and that is less expensive to mod as it is not PVD, even 300$ weigh more on the total cost and are less effective on the final result. So I think in this case I would pass.

Still, that watch is a beautiful watch. ^_^
