jjfesq
My HBB clasp is not comfortable. The edges are sharp and it hurts the wrist after daily usage. I am trying to figure out how I can modify the clasp. Any ideas out there?
specialvat
Reverse the buckle so it opens the opposite way
reprep
Use a dremel and smooth the sharp edge on the clasp. Works perfectly and doesn't "show".

I am trying to figure out how I can modify the clasp. Any ideas out there? Might sound silly, but how tight are you wearing the strap? I've read in Casio user manuals, that a watch strap should be loose enough to get a finger between the strap and the wrist...

bertieng
I will say it is almost impossible to fix this wrist killing problem on the HBB buckle. It is the natural fault of the rep design. The hurting part mainly comes from the button relelase part of the clasp, it is simply too protrusive to match the thinner strap going thro' it. tazzman
Reverse the buckle so it opens the opposite way This is a 2-minutes quick fix and removed the pain I got from my RG Tuiga.. I got really suprised that this work.. well yeh the clasp will be upside down..but hey.. no pain !! The strange thing is that my Platinum Mat has no pain-problem as the RG Tuiga..so maybe they got it right in later batches.. or maybe its not same factory.. try the above.. my advise.. -tazz
vric
I would love the guy that would invent a simple buckle for that watch. Demel is a no way for PVD owner and reversing it doesn't do anything if you have a big wrist.
Dave123
No such issue with the King.... Could be luck of the draw as well, one HBB i had was comfortable, the other 2 not so.....
jjfesq
OK, I had the sharp edges on the skin side of the clasp reworked by a Jeweller friend of mine. He machine rounded the edges and it is much more comfortable!. This is a very subtle mod that is unnoticable on a SS clasp. PVD is a different story. I highly reccomend it!
