pamlover
I have a Black/silver dial BCE V3 on its way from Angus on SS Bracelet and wanted to get a Gator or Calif strap for it in black with white stitch. I can't afford OEM calif or gator, so I wanted to go with gator GRAIN or calif. Which maker has better quality and closer to OEM look, BOB or Panatime. I have returned BOB Sportivo and Panatime REAL gator back due to some issues on the stitch part. But I read many good things about BOB gator grain straps, and Panatime has some Hadley Roma Black gator straps at $110: Hadley Roma Black gator grain is $40 And these are BOB's gator grain and calf straps at $32: What you guys think? Who has any experience with these, so far I am leaning towrds bob's Calf..
poopypants
I have both right now... PAN and BOB... I have ordered about 8 different Breit-style CALF models from BOB recently... OUT OF THE BOX: The BOB is actually a better strap in looks as the Panatime is better to wear... AGAIN, out of the box... The panatime seemed to be softer and formed easily and quickly but also seemed to carry PAM strap attributes... HOWEVER, the reason the BOB takes a little more time to break in is because, it actually has a thicker bump made into the strap like the GEN does... it actually makes the strap look more substantial... I prefer the BOB based on it physical attributes... Hope this helps...
Defender110
for such a nice rep defin. go with a genuine breitling strap. i would avoid these aftermarket straps at any savings.
Cats
I should go for the BOB if i were you. Did you think of buying the Marino Gator which is made of genuine Gator leather and has a superb finish. Carpe Diem Cats
