nogaro Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 Hello, I search an IWC Portuguese 7 Days White / Blue with correct spelling on back (Reserve in place of Resepve). Where can i find it ? Thank's by advance
nogaro Posted September 20, 2008 Author Report Posted September 20, 2008 Unfortunately not ! I had ordered one 10 days ago and Fiona just indicate me that they aren't have anymore ! It's the reason why I seek elsewhere
arr Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) Be aware that even though the newer models now spell "Reserve" correctly on the rotor, "Scafusia" is still spelled wrong as "Scafuia" on the crown. Edited September 20, 2008 by arr
docdoc Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) I had one from Puretime Ok the image is not that big but I swear it is the right spelling Edited September 20, 2008 by docdoc
nogaro Posted September 20, 2008 Author Report Posted September 20, 2008 @arr : thank's for the advice @docdoc : i just send a mail ton angus. I wait for his reply.
liquid-air888 Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I'm also looking for one with the right spelling. I could've sworn Angus' Portu says "RESERPE" but if it's been fixed, then I'll definitely order one from him. Angus is a good guy to deal with. Would appreciate if you could keep us updated of Angus' email response. Thanks. @arr : thank's for the advice @docdoc : i just send a mail ton angus. I wait for his reply.

sublime3 Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 I emailed this same question to puretime the other day, Angus assures me that its now spelt correctly however picture on his website are old. Ordered it and its due to arrive soon. Will post and tell you guys if its correct.
liquid-air888 Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Thanks for the update. It seems that every dealer post the same photo on their website with the misspelling. Makes me think there's only one guy who manufactures this particular part. Kindly post some pics when you get it. nogaro Posted September 23, 2008 Author Report Posted September 23, 2008 I have the same answer. Give me some news when you receive it !
nogaro Posted September 23, 2008 Author Report Posted September 23, 2008 When did you ordered ? By the way, i'm a little anxious about Angus by reading the dealer's review... What do you think about that ?
tobico Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 get it from Puretime angus, its correct spelling
nogaro Posted September 24, 2008 Author Report Posted September 24, 2008 Thank you all, I have me also yielded and ordered one from Angus.
liquid-air888 Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 If you're asking about Angus...he's been really responsive and quick to deliver. I've bought a couple of watches and some parts from him. My watches were in my hand exactly 7 days from the day I paid. I'm in Southern CA. When did you ordered ? By the way, i'm a little anxious about Angus by reading the dealer's review... What do you think about that ?
nogaro Posted October 3, 2008 Author Report Posted October 3, 2008 I received my watch from Angus. It is superb with indeed the good spelling. Only problem I had ordered with the brown bracelet and it arrived with the black

liquid-air888 Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Since most, if not all, of the dealers seem to post old pictures with the wrong spelling, can someone who already have these watches post some photos of the back so we can see how the new version with the correct spelling looks like? Also, is the spelling of "PROBUS SCAFUSIA" finally correct on the new watches? As I recall, the old version also spelled this word wrongly. Thanks!!
nogaro Posted October 4, 2008 Author Report Posted October 4, 2008 Chris (Eurotimez) got it now. You can see pics here : http://s303.photobucket.com/albums/nn154/e...power7-SS-white
liquid-air888 Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 The word "RESERVE" is still misspelled.
Rolexman Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 The word "RESERVE" is still misspelled.
nogaro Posted October 4, 2008 Author Report Posted October 4, 2008 I'm stupid, Chris said to me that it is the bad spelling I will make some pics. By the way, no response from Angus about my problem... I will believe all what i read about him and his bad after market !
