JAM
Hello, Just found your site via RWI, and am happy to say you don't actually ignore people that post simple questions, like 'Is this still avilable' on a several month old thread, Dealers actually talk to the buyers and if the dealers actually answer their emails on here, we're off!! Brand forums on there have no posts from one month to the next I wont mention which dealers are guilty of the following as I notice some of them are active on here, but why do you a) get no reply get, I'll get a pic and mail it to you in a day, and never hear from them again c) get an initial reply but never answered again when you ask a question or d) wait 3 weeks inbetween each reply. I've lost interest by then. I've never bought a rep before other than one in the 80s on holiday which has put me off them for life. It was terrible. However, if the majority of these dealers were not enough to put me off them again, then what is? Now, I know there are threads from Newbies asking who is the best this, the best that, and you guys say.. 'read read read'. But I've done that and I'd really like someone to say, Hey, we have a dealer on here who answers his mail, has great stock and sends it out. Would be nice, and a refreshing change. Oh and if any of them are based UK wise that would be handy too? Love what you guys have done with the place.
chiefwiggum
Hi, and Welcome There are at least two UK based and another EU based I can only add - Read, read, read (Granny sucking eggs - But that is what the search bar is for and you will find so many more will be willing to help you if you do some work yourself. That way you will learn some more and the end result when that package drops through the door, will be so much more satisfying because you will not, or at least should not have any let downs). JAM
Thanks Chief(top name by the way) Do those dealers let on they're based in the UK or do I have to hunt them out? I'm reading, I'm reading!
Toadtorrent
Thanks Chief(top name by the way) Do those dealers let on they're based in the UK or do I have to hunt them out? I'm reading, I'm reading! First one's free...just remember where you got it from. Precious Time and Eurotimez can both ship from the EU. The others for the most part don't. Many of the dealers here are the same as on RWI, Repgeek, etc...not all...but many. Use the "links" link at the top to get to the dealers sites. Some dealers here are still slower for email response than others. The best for email response are undeniably Josh/Andrew (Perfect Clones and Trusty Time)...but they ship from China and as with any dealer, they have their own quirks...read the reviews in the review section of people's transactions with them. Other dealers are slower to respond...lots slower...Jay (Silix) is definitely slow and sometimes Angus (Pure Time) can be slower...but both deliver in the end and support their products as much as any (which is definitely NOT AD level support of course). In the UK...definitely go for either Precious Time or Eurotimez. Eurotimez can take up to 3-4 days to respond to emails (he says 24-48 hours...and if you have problems, send him a PM on this board). chiefwiggum
http://www.eurotimez.com/ - Chris (Chris is not EU based, but can forward to his EU distributor who will forward to you so that Customs isn't really a problem). Chis is very very good and I am just about to contact him about another Rolex that I am interested in. His QC comes as part of the price and he is absolutely spot on to deal with. Some of the links below may give you a reasonable starting point. I believe that they are all UK based. Some you can contact via their own web pages and their e-mail link from there, but all can be PM'd from here. They are tried and trusted and their reviews can be found on the last link. http://www.ptswiss.com/ - PT ( NO prices so you have to email or PM questions to him). http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=63 - Narikaa http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=170 - Homer http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=207 - TomHighway (Tom has a good rep' came from TRC but has gone to ground of late - with my PO!! But I'm not too worried given his long standing reputation). http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=105 Hope this helps

CJC1
Hi, both Precious Time (PT) and narikaa are EU based (no customs issues) and as far as i know reputable - i have used PT once and he was pretty responsive to emails and the watch took around 2 weeks to be delivered. (http://www.precioustime-uk.com/) haven't used Reg ("Narikaa") but have asked him a couple of questions and he has always been quick to respond (he is currently away at the moment though) - check out their sections under "watch Collectors" on this forum cheers C

The usual mantra is...when you make your first purchase...if things aren't quite what you wanted...sort it out with the dealer then post back your experiences here WITH PHOTOS!! chiefwiggum
Jam - I may well have mine coming up for sale. That is if ever I get it back from TomHighway :D On the strength of a Black PO rep that I bought from Fireman_Fred. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?act=fi...&pid=483505 Same model as this (2201.51.00) but on leather. I have just bought the gen but on steel like in the attachment. If I ever get mine back from TomHighway, I will post some pics of it. The crown was loose so I have asked TomHighway to fix it for me. Other than the small problem, it is sublime. Let me know if you can't find what you are looking for and perhaps I can help you out. BTW - Where are you - UK? Fireman Fred, TomHighway, fantastic handles!! Yep, am in the UK mate. I'm after the plain black and white face on bracelet.. I have a gen Seamaster that I've had for 12 years and fancy a change, but after trying on the PO, I couldn't warrant 2K. Nice as it is, I couldn't justify it. Tried on the 45 as well, MASSIVE watch. Never owned a rep, but hear some are tops. The Subs have confused the life out of me on here!! Ceramic bezel? Is that what they use on the gen?
