pfran42
There is a rep Breitling being sold as gen here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=200256661278 Item number is 200256661278 I posted pics on this forum a day or so ago and even reported it on eBay. Take a look at the "15" on the bezel as this is the most glaring tell. This item is still up with about 10 hours to go. Can anyone else help out and report it as a counterfeit? 1. Just go to the bottom of the listing in the "Other options section" and click on "Report this item" 2. For "Reason For Report" select "Counterfeits and copyright violations" 3. For "Additional information" select "Counterfeit watches and jewelry" Thanks!
anton
Well maybe the seller unknowingly is selling a rep... I guess any prospective buyer can call the seller. Though the 2007 Breitling box is wrong (I have one in front of me and it has a propeller image on the top of it), the easiest tell is if whether or not the papers will match the case. And yes, I do see that the "15" is offset from center. Just questionable, is all. ---------------------------------------- EDIT: Nevermind, seller's description is questionable. He says he will ship with boxes, but no papers, just an appraisal certificate. Heck, anyone can write that. pfran42
I contacted the seller and he told me that I was retarded. I called out a few things about the watch and asked to see the movement and the seller quit responding to my emails. BTW, if you read the ad, you will note that there are no papers. I just don't want to see the guy get away with this. If you agree with me, then get on eBay and report it! Thanks.

anton
I just wonder if the seller knew he was selling a fake. He also has a 6.75 Bentley listed and that is authentic. Or, it could be to bolster the thinking that "well one is real, then both definitely are!"
pfran42
Seller appeared shady and very defensive. Was using profanity on his first reply to me. Not what you would expect from someone selling a gen and wanting to communicate in a way that would add value to the watch.
anton
well, i reported it anyway. if he is being that much of a jerk, and it is real and cancelled, then he deserves it.

wiseman
I think I reported it...but after pressing the submit button I was shown the Ebay-login screen. Do I really have to be an Ebay member to report stuff? If so, my report didnt make it... ..just give me his address instead and I go to the seller with a baseball bat... *evil grin* Just kidding guys, just kidding... I am a really nice guy although blessed with a kind of mean and evil look...I always get caught in the security checks when travelling to my company HQ in SFO.... georgegrasser
I would report in based on "New Never Worn". It's pictured on the guy's wrist.
